Market size in 2008 in cold-rolled steel products was 2.2 million tons; whereas it was 1.4 million tons in galvanized steel products.
The prominent reason for the decrease in sales has been the shrinking steel consumption in the automotive, home appliance and radiator industries, especially in the last quarter of the year due to the global crisis.

Production
- Production activities in hot-dip galvanized steel, cold-rolled annealed steel, and pickled and oiled hot-rolled steel groups, which are vitally important semi-finished inputs for the country’s manufacturers.
- Range of products consists of commercial, drawing, deep-drawing and extra-deep drawing steel, as well as bake-hardening, structural grades, rephosphorized, HSLA (high strength low alloy), enameling and dual phase.
