Borusan

Telecommunications

Borusan Telekom continued to grow in 2008 and improved both its cash flow and profitability balances. The company booked a turnover of around USD 70 million last year while reinforcing its position by means of rapid growth throughout the sector, good management, and a strengthened financial structure. Borusan Telekom is one of the most important service providers for corporate customers in Turkey: 167 of the top 500 companies listed in Capital Magazine's list are customers of Borusan Telekom. The principal sectors that the company serves are banking, retailing, technology, automotives, pharmaceuticals, and tourism. Customers served are the leading players in their respective sectors and industrial corporations with multiple location.

Keeping a close watch on sectoral developments and customer expectations, Borusan Telekom launched a fiber optics investment in 2008 in order to provide corporate customers with better and more diversified service. At the same time and recognizing that “economizing” was likely to be a customer priority in 2009, special products and services were developed to enable customers to optimize their communication costs. Data Flow Access investments have made it possible to offer customized and economic life internet and VPN services such as Econet. The company has also begun offering customers creative products such as Turboboost, which allows internet access speeds to be increased when desired, and SesMS voice messaging.

While providing for all the telecommunication needs of companies with both quality service and competitive prices, Borusan Telekom has also differentiated itself with its own fiber optic substructure. This strategic and focused understanding of investment and development pertaining to sales channels embodies a wide perspective to further strengthen the market position of the Company.
