Founded in 1973, Borusan Logistik was restructured as an integrated logistics service provider in 2000. Borusan Logistik specializes in four strategic business units: Turkey Domestic Logistics Services, Port Services, International Transportation Services and Logistics Services Abroad.

Within the scope of Turkey Domestic Logistics Services Borusan Lojistik provides Warehousing, customs clearance, domestic transportation and distribution and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) services. In the field of international transportation, the Company conducts Chartering and Multimodal Transportation, International Container Transportation, International Land Transportation, International Railway Transportation and International Air Transportation operations.

Strategically placed Borusan Port in Gemlik provides container, general cargo, project cargo, bulk cargo, PCC, porting and terminal services. Borusan Port currently has a capacity of 5.7 million tons general cargo, 400.000 TEU containers and handling 250.000 vehicles. The port also has 360,000 square meter customs and non customs terminal area. The 450 m linear dock with a 14.5 m water depth is a first in Turkey.

As for International Transportation Services, Borusan Logistics provides 3PL & 4PL Logistics Services through Borusan Logistics brand and its subsidiaries - 100% Borusan owned companies - in Middle Eastern countries, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Netherlands, USA, Kazakhstan.

In December 2012, Borusan Lojistik carried out the acquisition of Balnak Lojistik, one of the first 10 companies of the sector, and changed the landscape of logistics. With this acquisition Borusan Lojistik became the leader of logistics sector in Turkey with its $600 million turnover, 4,000 employees, 400,000 square meter closed storage area, 6 companies in 4 continents and over 100 international agencies.

Continuing its international activities through Borusan Logistics brand in the Middle East, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Netherland, USA and Kazakhstan; Borusan Lojistik became even stronger in international transport by adding a wide network of agencies abroad with the integration of Balnak.

Having built a very robust infrastructure particularly in Europe, Borusan Lojistik added Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Check Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, Netherland, United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Tunisia, Portugal and Baltic states to its network of agencies.
