With the purpose of understanding its customer’s expectations and increasing the
Company’s satisfaction index, Borusan Telekom undertook a total of 1,348 corporate
customer visits between 2004 and 2007.
During the same period, approximately 160 employees have taken an active role in
the Voice of Customer processes.
The implementation of its customer information system, an extension of a Six Sigma
project that was initiated in the context of the Voice of Customer initiative, was a first
in the telecommunications sector. The system, which was introduced during 2007,
endeavors to meet the expectations of its customers by providing them with updated
information pertaining to technical problems via mobile SMS or e-mail.
By scoring 76 points on the Strategic Customer Satisfaction Index in 2006, followed
by 77 points in 2007, Borusan Telekom has succeeded not only in towering over the
average global mark of 60 points but has also proved that it has a sustainable
perspective of success.
