2007 Highlights
In keeping with its vision of becoming the preferred steel service business partner for
medium-sized manufacturers, Kerim Çelik succeeded in increasing its sales by 34%
in 2007, reaching a sales volume of 219,228 tons.
As a part of its regional growth strategy, Kerim Çelik decided to open its 3rd and major
Steel Service Center in Bursa, the heart of the Turkish automotive industry.
Kerim Çelik continues to supply technical training to its customers. As a result of
the procedural and practical trainings provided to 50 different companies in Tuzla
Plant, Kerim Çelik’s customers have had access to valuable technical information
which has helped to increase their efficiency.
During the course of 2007, a total of 900 visits were made to clients, including both
Sales and Customer Technical Service departments represantatives.
A 55% increase in participation has been noted in the employee suggestion system
during the 2003-2007 period
As a consequence of the data gathered from customers, line productivity has increased
by 32% over the past five years and customer satisfaction has risen significantly due
to on-time deliveries.
